1981 - Rotech Industries was founded, manufacturing for road, rail, medical and other specialised industries.
1994 - We shifted to a healthcare focus with the creation of Select Medical, specialising in patient transport products.
2000 - Launch of the Aqua Shower Trolleys plus development and release Contour Patient Transport Trolley Range.
2008 - Steady growth, expanding through a national distribution network. Began exporting to the UK and NZ and relocated to a larger facility.
2012 - Rebranded as Select Patient Care, adopting a factory-direct model in QLD.
2016 - Embraced by the sector, we had more than doubled in size. Opened two new warehouses and started exporting to the USA.
2018 - Modsel Pty Ltd was formed, allowing transfer of ownership to the next generation. Started developing a global brand for our core range of manufactured solutions.
2023 - Caboolture Distribution Centre opened to support daily operations.
2024 - Modsel North America was established, with plans to grow our US export market and increase production in Australia, ensuring ready availability and a cost competitive alternative to imports.
